اعتقال مواطن سويسري من أصل جزائري في مطار بيروت

اعتقلت السلطات اللبنانية بتاريخ 4/7/2006 في مطار بيروت وتحت ظروف غامضة السيد مبروك بن عطية وهو مواطن سويسري من أصل جزائري وكان السيد بن عطية عائدا الى سويسرا من مدينة الرياض في السعودية على الخطوط الجوية اللبنانية .

و السيد بن عطية من الشباب الذين عارضوا الانقلاب العسكري في الجزائر في التسعينات (1992). وندد علنا بالقمع الذي تعرض له الشعب الجزائري من طرف النظام العسكري الحاكم . ولذلك وضعه النظام الجزائري على قائمته السوداء مثل ما هو حال المئات من الجزائريين في المهجر.

إنّ منظمة الكرامة لحقوق الإنسان تنظر بعين القلق إلى هذا التوقيف من قبل السلطات اللبنانية و تطالبها بإطلاقه فورا ليعود إلى أسرته في سويسرا سالما معافى و عدم تسليمه إلى الحكومة الجزائرية حيث يمكن أن تتعرض حياته للخطر .

On July 4th, 2006, at Beirut International Airport, the Lebanese authorities detained under circumstances that are still unclear Mr. Mabrouk Benattia, a Swiss national from Algerian descent.

Mr. Benattia who left Switzerland to the Arabian Gulf on 03 / 03 / 2006, was returning to Switzerland from Riyadh via Beirut on Middle East Airlines.

Mr. Benattia is one of the young people who had opposed the military coup in Algeria in 1992, and publicly denounced the repression suffered by the Algerian people at the hands of the ruling military junta. Therefore, his name was on the Algerian black list as is the case of hundreds of Algerians in the diaspora.

Alkarama Organization for human rights views with concern the arrest by the Lebanese authorities, demanding the immediate release of the detainee to return to his family in Switzerland, safe and sound and not be handed over to the Algerian government, where his life may be in danger.
